Perth teen too frightened to drive after man rammed him off road and threatened to beat in his skull

FIRST ON 7 - A Perth P-plater is too terrified to get behind the wheel again after he was rammed, chased and cornered by a driver who threatened to bash in his skull.

Adam La Rosa told 7 News about his on-road encounter with the enraged man who pursued him with his young daughter in his car.

The 19-year-old said the man in the 4WD deliberately came up on the curb on Monday night and crashed into his car, forcing him off the road.

He then chased and cornered the teen into a cul-de-sac and threatened to beat him with a baseball bat.

The teen was driving with his younger brother on Spearwood Avenue when the road rage erupted.

"He tried to run me off the road," he told 7 News.

"As you can see the damage to my car. He mounted the curb and then smashed the side of his car into mine."

For 10 minutes the man followed the teen and his brother until they were trapped in a cul-de-sac where he came at Mr La Rosa with the baseball bat. Hi daughter was in the car.

"He just said that he was going to smash my skull in with his baseball bat and that I frightened his little girl, which I don't get because he did this to me," Mr La Rosa said.

The man eventually backed off and returned to his vehicle.

The matter and the man's description – aged in his 40s or 50s, short hair the fans out into a mullet, with a bit of a gut – were reported to police.
