Perth policeman charged over fatal crash

A Perth policeman has been charged with reckless driving over a fatal car chase.

The 36-year-old senior constable, who remains on operational duties, was charged by internal affairs over the February crash which killed a 24-year-old motorcyclist.

He is expected to appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on Wednesday, while a 35-year-old New Zealand woman was earlier this year charged with manslaughter, failing to stop and render assistance and other offences, after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road, prompting the chase.
