Perth RBT stop leads to drug bust and home raid

A driver who was stopped by police in Perth will appear in court after he was allegedly found with several drugs, including cocaine, MDMA and anabolic steroids.

Police stopped his Nissan utility on Mends Street in South Perth just after midnight on Saturday to conduct a random breath test.

It is alleged the driver was also found with dexamphetamine, a set of scales and nine other drug-related items.

The discovery led police to search the 37-year-old's Beaconsfield home, where they seized 10 other drug-related items, including a 10ml bottle of testosterone.

He will face five drug charges in Perth Magistrates Court later this month, including three counts of Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell or Supply and two counts of Possessed a Prohibited Drug.
