"It's easy to forget how significant each presidential election is, but this year's election, in particular, carries a lot of weight and comes with a lot of important decisions. While there is no sure way to "hold" any candidate to their exact promises, voters are responsible for informing themselves about the campaign's core policies.

Even as his popular vote majority has now slimmed, it is official: former president Donald Trump is now the president-elect. With the most recent recount, he sits at 50% of the vote, meaning that his words and promises really stuck with many Americans — but is there already buyer's remorse?
