Child hurt in Adelaide Airport car crash

A child is among three pedestrians injured after a car mounted a walkway at Adelaide Airport.

The male driver is believed to have suffered a medical episode before hitting the primary school-aged boy, two men and several other cars around 5.15pm on Monday, police said.

The child was taken to the Women's and Children's Hospital with a fractured arm and the two other pedestrians to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with neck and head injuries respectively.

The driver was also transported to hospital with chest pains after the accident at the entrance of the pick up/drop off zone on Sir Richard Williams Avenue.
