A young man has been killed after he stepped in front of a car near Bundaberg in Queensland.
The man, 18, was walking along Bargara Road, Bargara on Sunday about 1.40am when he was hit by a car. Police said he stepped into the path of the vehicle before he was struck.
Paramedics tried to save him but he died at the scene.
No one else was injured during the incident but police are questioning the driver.

The driver has undergone mandatory blood testing.
