Shell V-Power's Anton De Pasquale has capped off a brilliant day of racing at Sydney Motorsport Park seeing off a spirited challenge from Red Bull Ampol to claim victory in race 26 of Supercars.

De Pasquale scored the maximum outcome for his team, nabbing pole, the win as well as the fastest lap of the race to continue his dominance on Sydney's race track with his fourth win in three weekends.

He did it in style after two undercut attempts by Red Bull were trumped by him and his team midway through the race to power past Jamie Whincup and Shane Van Gisbergen on consecutive laps.

The 26-year-old entered the field just behind Whincup after his stop, but quickly passed the seven time Supercars champion on turn nine, before doing it again on the same corner to overtake Shane Van Gisbergen a lap later.

His fresher tyres and hot form powered De Pasquale to an epic race win and his fifth in 2021.

"Definitely the better one's (races) I've done since being in Sydney. Pretty stoked to get the win we've had a good day so we'll try and do something similar tomorrow," he told Fox Sports.

"The guys at Shell V-Power Racing they took two tyres so I knew I was gonna have grip out of that corner on them and just sort of did it on Jamie and then Shane the next lap."

"They were both pretty nice to me but I think the speed difference is so much with the two tyres, so lucky to get it done with the safety car and all of that stuff."

When Bryce Fullwood broke down with 14 laps remaining, Van Gisbergen had one more shot at the leader off the jump but Shell V-Power's cars were humming on Saturday and De Pasquale blitzed away to a 1.891 second win.

It was also a fantastic day for Erebus Racing young gun Will Brown who registered his second podium in three weekends, passing teammate Brodie Kostecki for a shot at Whincup in third, before leapfrogging him with three laps remaining.

The 23-year-old couldn't wipe the smile off his face in pit lane, saying he had "the best teammate in the world" allowing him a shot at the podium.

"That was awesome but to get past Jamie and get on the podium was fantastic. I wish it was a few laps longer," he said.

"You can see we're doing it as a team, me and Brodie there and the whole team was fantastic. So they've worked tirelessly, and yeah, I'm just pumped Erebus is a really happy place right now."
