'Self-entitled': P-plater's disturbing act after parking in disabled spot

A P-plater has been criticised for parking in a disabled bay before ‘tailgating’ a woman on the Sunshine Coast.

A woman uploaded a photo to Facebook of the P-plater’s Hyundai parked in a disabled bay on Wednesday at Big Top Maroochydore.

The woman wrote she “politely” told the P-plater she “forgot” to put up a disability permit as she walked into the shops to which she replied: “yeah, right”.

“When I left the shopping centre she tailgated me and blew her horn,” she wrote.

“I decided to take her on a bit of an adventure around the streets and then headed for the police station.

“When she realised where I was going, she sailed straight past me.”

On Facebook, people criticised the P-plater.

“Self-entitled miss,” one woman wrote.

“I would have reported her not only for the parking, but the bullying harassment following you around the streets.”

One man called her actions “not fair and not right”.

“I'm lucky if I can walk 20 metres with my walk frame now,” he wrote.
