Oz Lotto: Huge $30 million jackpot up for grabs tonight

One lucky punter could walk away with the division one win.

Punters will be playing for a massive $30 million jackpot in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw.

Tuesday’s game is offering up the biggest prize this year, while there is only one other game currently putting up such a pool. “This week, Aussies have the chance to win $30 million twice, with both Oz Lotto on Tuesday and Powerball on Thursday night offering this giant prize,” The Lott’s Matt Hart told Seven News.

Persistency pays off for Lotto winners

If just one person claims the jackpot this week, they’ll be the sixth division one winner in 2023. “We’ve had a steady stream of Oz Lotto division one wins so far this year, which is why we haven’t seen the jackpot climb too high, until now,” Mr Hart said.

Last month, a couple from Victoria took out the division one prize, picking up the $20 million Oz Lotto draw.

The Cairnlea dad was doing the school drop-off when The Lott phoned to confirm the win. It took a while for the news to sink in. “I had no idea we’d won $20 million,” he said. “I put an entry on for Oz Lotto, Powerball and TattsLotto every week. We’re glad we persisted.“

How to play the game

According to The Lott, playing Oz Lotto is easy. “Simply choose your favourite seven numbers and sit back and watch the yellow balls drop,” the website reads. Then, out of the 47 balls, numbered 1 to 47, seven are randomly selected.

While there are seven prize divisions, to claim the top spot all seven numbers picked must match the numbers on your ticket.

“If you can’t decide on what numbers to choose, grab yourself a QuickPick and your numbers will be chosen for you,” The Lott added. Oz Lotto draws close at 7.30pm (AEST) every Tuesday night.
