Overnight Russian drone attack: At least one civilian injured in Kharkiv, explosions in Dnipo

At least one person was injured and treated by medics in an explosion of a Russian Shahed one-way attack drone that hit a residential neighborhood in the administrative center of Kharkiv overnight, Ukraine's public broadcaster Suspilne reported on Telegram early on May 5

A series of explosions were reported throughout the night in Kharkiv and another Ukrainian city, Dnipro, after a group of Russian drones launched toward Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts triggered an air raid alert in the southern and northeastern regions of the country shortly after midnight.

The alert was canceled at 7 a.m. EET.

On the same night, a blast rang out in the city of Sumy, soon after the Ukrainian Air Force issued a warning about a potential ballistic missile threat.
