Oti Mabuse has laughed off her husband Marius Iepure's cooking abilities.

The recent I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camper stopped by Mary Berry's festive BBC special Mary Makes Christmas on Wednesday, 18 December, where the 89-year-old asked her about the family's kitchen adeptness as she and Iepure raise their young daughter together.

According to Mabuse, whose older sister Motsi judged the Strictly Come Dancing final several days ago, her other half is extremely limited when it comes to that side of things and can only rustle up "rice with ketchup".

Whilst helping Berry to make a batch of almond snowballs, Mabuse was asked if she's "taken to doing a little bit of cooking" for the toddler.

Laughing, the professional dancer answered: "Yes, but it's more functional cooking. I haven't gotten to a stage where I'm like, 'Ooh I'm enjoying this!'"

"And how about your husband... does he spend any time in the kitchen?" replied Berry, who worked on the original Great British Bake Off before the reality TV competition switched over to Channel 4.

"No. He will make you rice with ketchup for dinner, that's it!" giggled Mabuse, before lamenting: "We have so many cookbooks, none are used."

Meanwhile, the Royal Variety Performance 2024 co-host Amanda Holden also met up with Berry in a pub, where they produced two great Christmas present ideas: boozy jarred apricots and a stilton cheese dip.

Chatting away, Holden revealed that her Christmas tree "goes up just after Halloween", whilst Berry dug out their mutual friend Alan Carr over his terrible alcohol measuring system.

Recalling one particular drink he'd made her, she said: "All I know is I only took one sip and I almost knocked myself out on the floor!"
