You can easily read a book or watch Netflix while tanning your backside. Want to lie comfortably on your back, too? There’s an attached pillow you can flip over to cover the face hole and support the back of your head.
Overall, the idea is pretty genius.

The Ostrich Chaise Lounge, aka the Ostrich Chair, originally went viral in 2021. However, TikTok user @yentrouc95 (Court 👑) recently posted a video of herself using the chair and seemingly brought everyone’s attention back to it, just in time for summer vacay. Since March 28, her video has racked up over 21 million views.
You can purchase the Ostrich Chair on Amazon, where more than 6,300 Amazon reviewers give it a five-star rating.
“I love the fact that it has the hole for your face to breathe while laying on your stomach,” one reviewer wrote. “I even put a drink below me with a straw for easy access to some ice water. My boyfriend wants me to buy another. It was easy to fold up, light and easy to carry, and it’s pretty durable.”
Some shoppers who gave it fewer stars complained that they had a hard time getting the chair to open up all the way. However, many five-star reviewers will assure you that those people didn’t put it together properly.
The Ostrich Chair comes in six colors and regularly retails for $67.95, although select colors are currently on sale. If you plan to soak up the rays in your backyard, at the beach or by the pool this summer, it’s a great buy. Seriously, can you put a price on comfort and a great tan?
