Oscars 2023: How to watch the Best Picture nominees in the UK

You can stream most of the nominated films, including Top Gun: Maverick and Elvis, from the comfort of your own home

The 2023 Oscars are just days away, and all eyes are on the battle for Best Picture.

Ten films will battle it out for the coveted award, including sci-fi blockbuster Everything Everywhere All At Once and dark Irish comedy The Banshees of Inisherin.

Most of the nominated films are available to stream, buy or rent from the comfort of your home, although some are only out in cinemas.

Ahead of the Academy Awards ceremony this Sunday, 12 March, here's how you can watch all of the Oscar Best Picture contenders.

All Quiet on the Western Front

Avatar: The Way of Water

James Cameron's long-awaited sequel to his 2009 sci-fi adventure sees Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña reprising their roles. Expect a Disney+ streaming release in the future.

Avatar: The Way of Water is out in cinemas now, and will be available from all major digital retailers including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Sky Store on 4 April.

The Banshees of Inisherin

In Bruges director Martin McDonagh reunites with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson for this darkly comic tale set on a remote Irish island.

The Banshees of Inisherin is streaming on Disney+.

Elvis

Everything Everywhere All At Once

Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, this multiverse epic hops through multiple genres, from action and sci-fi to comedy and kung fu.

The Fabelmans

Steven Spielberg's semi-autobiographical drama is an ode to cinema, starring Paul Dano and Michelle Williams as the parents of an inspiring filmmaker.

Triangle of Sadness
