It's official! Netflix's Selling the OC season 3 is happening. Here's what we know
Selling Sunset really paved the way for our obsession with reality-TV-meets-real-estate shows, and we like to keep track of all of the Netflix spin-offs that come our way. Including, of course, Selling the OC, with the second season recently landing on the streaming platform.
But will Selling The OC season three happen? Here's everything we know so far about a potential follow up installment.
Has Selling the OC season 3 been confirmed?
It's official, Selling the OC is definitely getting a season three. Way back in January 2023, Jason Oppenheim - who also oversees The O Group offices in LA - revealed on Instagram, "Netflix just announced that Selling the OC will be back for two more seasons! Get ready for Selling the OC seasons 2 and 3 and Selling Sunset seasons 6 and 7. They like to keep me busy… here we go!"

Who will star in Selling the OC season 3?
Fans can assume Selling the OC's third season will feature many of the same faces as the first and second season - aka the real estate agents who work at The O Group office in Orange County. Those include:

There's one newcomer joining the line up for season two - Ali (Alexandra) Harper - so it's likely she'll appear in season three, too.
What could happen in Selling the OC season 3?
It's hard to know for sure, because Netflix have kept details of when it was filmed under wraps. In season two, the cast take a trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico to visit the new Oppenheim Group offices, while they also see the brokerage's first ever billion-dollar listing.
Of course, there's plenty of drama to go alongside the luxury houses - so maybe we can expect more of the same in season three.
Selling the OC season 3 release date speculation
Selling the OC season one was released on 24th August 2022, before the second and third seasons were confirmed in January 2023. The second season is being released on 8th September 2023.
Following this pattern, we would probably expect Selling the OC season three to be released in August or September 2024.
However it's worth noting that Selling Sunset has not always followed the same release pattern, and when seasons were filmed back to back, they had a much shorter gap between releases. For example - season 2 came in May 2020, quickly followed by season 3 in August 2020.
Selling Sunset season 4 came in November 2021, followed by season 5 in April 2022, and season 6 a year later in May 2023. So we would expect season three of Selling the OC to come no more than a year after season two, which was released in September 2023.
