Rubik's Cube world record broken

Rubik's Cube world record broken

A young Indian man has broken a new record, successfully solving five Rubik's Cubes in under one and a half minutes, using only one hand.

Bhargav Narasimhan broke the previous world record by almost 30 seconds.

Since it first appeared in the 1980s, the Rubik's Cube has become a popular puzzle for children and adults alike.

But the fascination with the colourful cube has also spawned a global community of 'speed cubers'.

Before breaking the world record for the fastest time to solve five Rubik's Cubes using one hand, Narasimhan was already a big name in the world of speed cubers, holding two national records.
