Police responding to reports of shooting in Sydney's south

A man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in Sydney's south.

Emergency services responded to reports a man had been shot at West Botany St in Rockdale, near Fitness First gym, just after midday on Thursday.

He has been transferred to St George Hospital, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.
