Two men stabbed in Sydney's west

Two alleged attackers are on the run after a double stabbing in Sydney's west left two men hospitalised.

Emergency services were called to a property in Rooty Hill about 8am on Thursday where they found two victims - a 60-year-old man who had been stabbed in the torso and a 35-year-old man who was stabbed in the leg.

The men told officers they had been attacked by two other men armed with a gun and another weapon, NSW Police said in a statement.

The pair was taken to hospital by paramedics.
