A woman is recovering in hospital after she was gored by a rhinoceros on the NSW south coast.
The 47-year-old zookeeper suffered a serious arm wound on Wednesday after she was gored by Kei, a southern white rhino, at Mogo Zoo south of Batemans Bay.
The woman was airlifted to Canberra Hospital suffering a suspected fractured arm.
The senior keeper was completing a routine procedure when she was injured, Mogo Zoo said in a statement. The zoo will review its procedures with an internal investigation underway.
