Shocking video shows Sydney ferry crashes which left passengers with serious injuries

Video has emerged showing just some of the shocking crashes commuters have been involved in on Sydney Ferries with some left nursing serious injuries.

Seven News has obtained exclusive vision of crash after crash that have gone unreported until now.

Four passengers were injured when a ferry crashed into a pylon at the Abbotsford Wharf in June in what the official report put down to an “error of judgement”.

The Nicole Livingstone, a RiverCat, slammed into Meadowbank wharf in September 2016.

In Neutral Bay, the MV Fishburn makes a last-minute decision to pull up but hits the pontoon.

Another video shows the Lady Herron overshooting a stop.

Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Andrew Constance said the footage was “very concerning and alarming for passengers”.

"The expectations on operators is to keep be sharp be focused to keep customer safety as your number one priority,” he said.

Mr Constance said passengers should feel safe, and that every time an accident occurs valuable lessons are learnt.
