Salim Mehajer claims he's cleaning up unpaid bill 'mess' over Sydney apartment block
Property developer Salim Mehajer has been back in court, accused this time of short-changing a cleaner of thousands of dollars.
Mr Mehajer has told 7 News that an agreement has been made to clear things up.
The civil matter relates to the cleaning of an apartment block owned by Mr Mehajer.
Anping Yan is suing him for $25,000 in unpaid bills, but the disgraced former Deputy Mayor says an agreement has been reached.
"Well, we've come to the terms but I can't disclose the amount," he told 7 News.
Mr Mehajer claims he'll be paying substantially less than what's been ordered, but the cleaner's lawyer disagrees.
James Lee says they're still negotiating the terms and conditions and no agreement has been reached.
The matter is listed to return to court in a week.
Mr Mehajer is also facing a further 160 criminal charges relating to alleged electoral fraud, assault, breaching an AVO and dangerous driving.
As part of his bail conditions for the last two, he has to report to Rose Bay Police Station three times a week until March at the earliest.
