Bus crashes into houses north of Sydney

A bus has caused severe damage after crashing into homes north of Sydney.

Traffic east and westbound on Epping Road at Delhi Road is currently heavy after a bus crashed into homes at North Ryde about 12.30pm Saturday.

The bus, with no passengers on board, crashed into two houses.

Police said two women in one of the houses suffered minor injuries and were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for observation. A man in another house also suffered minor injuries but did not require treatment.

The male bus driver was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for observation and mandatory blood and urine tests.
