Sydney family mourning 'bubbly' hairdresser killed in fiery supercar crash
A heartbroken Sydney family are mourning the death of a young hairdresser and model who was killed in a fiery explosion in Darling Harbour on Saturday.
Bree Keller, 22, was reportedly one of three people killed when a newly purchased $200,000 supercar burst into flames after rolling off the road.
“She was a lovely, bubbly person ... she was a free spirit and we miss her dearly,” her stepfather Peter Francis told the Daily Telegraph.
“We keep thinking of when she is going to walk in the door … but she is never going to walk in the door again.
"Bree was a very attractive girl, both inside and out. She had never been in trouble. She was a delight to be with and had lots of friends.”
A friend of the young model wrote "absolutely heartbroken, RIP gorgeous girl" on her last Instagram post.
Ms Keller is yet to be formally identified but a police spokesman told 7 News Online they believe it was a "22-year-old woman from the Northern Beaches".
Brothers Steve and Jeff Nasr were the other two killed when the Nissan GT-R R35, purchased just six days earlier, went up in flames.
Ms Keller's family said they are still trying to establish how she ended up in the high performance car.
“We have no idea who these people were,” Mr Francis said.
“We knew she was going out, but we didn’t know where, she is 22 years old.”
Joseph Bagala, 39, was the sole survivor after he was pulled out of the car by four police officers before it caught alight outside the Novotel Rockford Hotel.
The investigation is ongoing.
