WATCH: Driver rams a P-plater for not moving out of the right lane
A driver has rammed his four-wheel-drive into a P-plater's car in a shocking case of road rage.
Footage of the incident, on Maitland Road in Newscastle, was captured on the dashcam of the vehicle travelling behind on Satruday afternoon.
The driver of the white Landcruiser appears to be impatient with the other car for hogging the right lane.
The driver comes dangerously close to the P-plater, before moving into the left hand lane.
The Landcruiser can be seen travelling alongside the other car for a few seconds with the window open.
He then dramatically swerves into the other lane and crashes into the side of the P-platter's vehicle.

Both cars nearly fly off the road in the smash.
After swerving into the P-plater, the driver of the white Landcruiser speeds off in the left hand lane.
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred at 5pm on Saturday afternoon.
