Third person charged over NSW road rage incident
It's the road-rage punch that's gone viral online and now a third person has been charged over the stoush on the NSW Central Coast.
On Monday afternoon video footage emerged of an altercation between and man and a woman travelling along Pacific Highway at Lake Munmorah.
In the footage a 41-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were having an argument before the man allegedly punched the woman in the face.
After receiving mobile phone footage, Tuggerah police were called in to investigate and both parties were charged.
New South Wales Police released a statement on Thursday confirming that the punched woman admitted to throwing nails and other objects at the man's car in the lead-up to the incident.
On Friday a 23-year-old woman, who was allegedly driving the silver Ford utility the two women were travelling in, was also arrested.
She was charged with driving in a manner dangerous to the public, malicious damage, not complying with a P licence and driving with an unrestrained passenger.
The woman, from Salt Ash, was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Wyong Local Court on August 16.
