Kids taught Islam should replace government, Sydney teacher claims

A NSW schoolteacher has met with the state Education Minister after she alleges school students are being taught the government must be replaced with Islam.

Mrs A, who claims she taught at Punchbowl Public School, has met with state Education Minister Rob Stokes over allegations students as young as five are being radicalised.

She further alleged students as young as 10 years old were becoming violent and threatening to behead her.

“They can turn quite violent, quite aggressive towards teachers and each other,” she said.

“You don’t know what is going to spark them.”

Mrs A gave the minister material she alleges she had to read to year one and two students at Bellfield Islamic College.

“The worst enemies of mankind? Secularism, which divides religious and political roles, and nationalism,” one lesson allegedly reads.

“Peace and stability and justice can be only achieved through the establishment of Islam and the rule of divinely appointed Imams... and nothing else,” another allegedly teaches.

She alleges she reported the students’ threats but was told to "harden up" and and that the school tacitly accepted Islamist dogma and branded critics Islamophobes.”

Minister Stokes said he’s reviewing the information he received.
