A young child has died and four others have been taken to hospital after a car crash in the NSW Hunter Valley.
Police say a four-wheel drive rolled on the Golden Highway near Cassilis about 2.30pm on Friday.
The child died at the scene and four other people in the car were treated by paramedics before being taken to Dubbo hospital.
Earlier, a man died after his car left the road and crashed into a signpost in northern NSW.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Summerland Way in Kyogle about 3am on Friday but the 36-year-old driver died at the scene.
