Lot of pain: Sydney woman whacked by parking gate
If finding a parking spot in Sydney isn't quite painful enough for you, getting poleaxed by a boom gate ought to do the trick.
Security camera footage showed the moment the unsuspecting woman walked under the gate, blissfully unaware she was about to be struck right on the head.
Samantha Hall, 21, was the unlucky victim who said she literally thought she’d “been shot”.
Clutching her head, Ms Hall was visibly distressed but managed to return to her feet.
She insisted she was not paying attention to the gate because she was trying to help a client find a parking spot.
