Ksubi fashion designer Dan Single won't walk for 'a long time' after breaking bones in horror Paris hotel balcony fall

Ksubi fashion designer Dan Single remains in intensive care after shattering multiple bones in a three-storey balcony fall from a Paris hotel.

The Australian man was abroad with his wife, model Bambi Northwood-Blyth, who was walking for Paris Fashion Week, when he fell out of a window of the hotel, believed to be the Grand Amour.

The 36-year-old was reportedly placed in an induced coma at a nearby hospital and has already been operated on, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Single’s friends remained tight-lipped on the father-of-one’s condition, but could confirm “an incident took place”.

“There is no brain injury and no back injury but he fell three storeys,” a source told the newspaper.

“His legs are a complete mess; he won’t be walking for a very long time. He is not in a good way.”

It is understood Single broke multiple bones, from the bottom of his spine to his heels when he landed feet first.

The source said the couple were likely to stay in country for some time as designer is no condition to fly.

The Ksubi fashion mogul’s former partner Pip Edwards told the newspaper, “We are all taking each day as it comes.”

Northwood-Blyth, who wed Single in a Byron Bay ceremony in 2014, remains by his bedside in Paris.

Yesterday she shared an image on Instagram, taken in front of The Eiffel Tower, with a message of congratulations to her sister who was recently married.

“Sorry I can't be there. I am sending you millions of kisses and love and vibes and best wishes through the airways from Paris,” she captioned.

A Hotel Grand Amour spokesperson confirmed an incident had occurred at the hotel but would not provide further details.
