Killer's blood-soaked confession after murdering parents
With his hands soaked in the blood of a two-hour rampage, Corey Breen delivered the details of a double murder.
Details are not spared as the man recounts how he stabbed his father Paul Breen and his stepmother Felicia Crawford only an hour earlier.
It's a chilling confession to the police on the NSW Central Coast who interviewed Breen on Good Friday, 2013.
It's almost a boast.
Breen holds up his bloody red hand for the camera in a police interview video that will be aired on Seven's Murder Uncovered.
His vicious crime spree, that saw him stab another person, assault three other victims and steal two cars, had not come without warning.
Three years before the rampage Breen warned of a monster inside him that "would no longer be locked away and will finally reach the surface".
Speaking with police, Breen thinks back on his rampage when he seems, unfazed, to notice his red right hand.
"Yeah, more on my right hand," he reflects, examining the blood with an almost absent mind.
Police ask him if the blood is his or that of his victims. Breen tells them "Could be all three… dunno... probably all three".
Breen hopes the stabbings were murders.
"It's always sort of been like... like a time bomb sitting in my head… I knew sooner or later I was gonna f**king go and get me old man and the rest of the c**ts.
"Tonight was the night."
Breen's brag goes into details about he "probably" kicked and smashed glass to get at this father "just to get him spooked before I killed the c**t" before stabbing him 15 times.
When he talks about murdering his stepmother, it's almost with glee.
"I just stabbed the f**k out of her. I think I got her in the head a few times too," he says.
The frenzy was witnessed by his young stepbrother, Dane, who spoke of the vicious and unrelenting murders for the first time on Murder Uncovered.
"I thought he was punching him (his dad) and then I saw blood... I saw dad convulsing up every time he would stab him," Dane said.
He was only 12 years old at the time, but he has never forgotten the look of pure evil Breen flashed as he left the scene.
"I feel like if I give my side of the story it kind of will be over at least... I can move on after I've told it."
Murder Uncovered airs on Seven at 9pm Wednesday.
