A little ghost: The search for a young boy not seen in nine years

A 7 News investigation has tracked down the family at the centre of a homicide investigation into a missing toddler.

There is no evidence Baden Bond has been seen by anyone for nine years.

His family says they’re also looking for answer, two days after police entered their former Brisbane home searching for the boy’s body.

A small housing commission home on the north coast of NSW is where 7 News found Baden Bond’s family.

Two days ago investigators meticulously searched a home in Logan.

A police pathologist examined what could only be described as ‘possible’ bone fragments found there.

It is where Baden Bond used to live with his mother, Dena Bond, nine years ago.

Now no one can account for him, not even his mother.

Although the NSW Homicide Squad is taking the lead on the investigation for the moment it is only listed as a missing person’s case.

There is no evidence to suggest the boy is dead.

Equally, there is no evidence to suggest he is alive either.
