A nine-year-old boy who disappeared from his Sydney home this morning has been found safe and well.
Police appealed for assistance from the public to help find Henry earlier today, after he disappeared from his home in Bellview Avenue, Avalon.
Henry, who does not speak or respond to his name, had last been seen by his parents about 9.30am, in the backyard of his home.
Henry was described as being 150cm tall with a slim build and shoulder length blond hair and blue eyes.
He was barefoot and only wearing blue shorts and a white T-shirt when he disappeared.
He was found 'safe and well' by a member of the public in Belleview Avenue around 10.50am and has been re-united with his family.
Police would like to thank the media and members of the community involved in the search.
