Incredible underwater rescue frees injured shark

It’s not very often sharks approach humans for help.

Incredible vision shows an injured Port Jackson shark swim up to divers in Sydney's Botany Bay after a fishing lure got stuck in its mouth.

The vision, uploaded to YouTube, shows two men using a knife in a delicate underwater operation.

One diver can be seen trying to hold the wriggling animal still, while another tries to remove the bait with a knife.

After several failed attempts, the divers manage to free the animal, which swims off into the blue.

Unfortunately, the hook remained in its mouth, but is designed to disintegrate over time.
