Sydney Jihadists appear in new IS 'beheading' video

Two of Australia's most infamous Islamic State (IS) recruits Khaled Sharrouf and Mohamed Elomar may have appeared in a sickening new propaganda video showing the brutal beheading of a suspected spy.

The film, believed to have been shot in Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa, shows a terrorist, who bears a striking resemblance to Sharrouf, holding a knife in his hand and reading a short speech in poorly spoken Arabic.

Sharrouf, a convicted terrorist, is flanked by other IS fighters, including notorious Sydney extremist Mohamed Elomar, NewsCorp reports.

In the video, the captive is forced to deliver a statement alongside two other condemned men before they are driven to execution sites, according to reports.

Each are slaughtered by three Islamic State butchers in what is described as the 'harvest of apostates'.

The video is reportedly being investigated by security authorities who have added both men to Australia's terror list.

Khaled Sharrouf shot to notoriety when he posted an image online of his seven-year-old son holding the severed head of a slain Syrian soldier.

Elomar has appeared in several Islamic State propaganda films and has previously posted pictures of himself holding the severed heads of Syrian government soldiers.

Both Elomar and Sharouf left Australia late in 2013.
