Oliver ranked number one for boys, according to McCrindle Research, with William coming a close second.
They were followed by Jack, Noah and Jackson, spelt with either a C-K or an X.
Charlotte was the name most registered across the country for baby girls.
Olivia, Ava, Emily and Mia made the top five.
