Police are warning motorists of travel delays due to several roads closures in place.
Road closures on 30th January 2013
The Pacific Highway is still closed between Grafton and Ballina
It’s expected to remain closed for at least 2 – 3 days due to the amount of water over the road
There are diversions in place via the Summerland Way and the Bruxner Highway adding about an hour travel time
Roads are busy along the diversion routes, lots of traffic over the Grafton bridge heading north
Gwyder Highway is closed between Grafton and Gleninnes due to a landslide
There is no diversion available
Drivers told to avoid the Gwyder Highway
Tweed Valley Way still closed near Murwullimbah
UIlmarra Ferry and Lawrence Ferry out of sevice (car ferries) near Grafton
The Newall Highway is closed at Boggabilla on the Qld border causing problems north of Moree
