Woman charged over Hayden’s murder

A woman has been charged over the stabbing murder of Sydney teenager Hayden Burnes.

Police arrested the woman inside a motel room in Toukley on the New South Wales Central Coast at about 3:45pm on Thursday.

The 38-year-old was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with being an accessory to Hayden’s murder.

She’s been refused bail and ordered to face court tomorrow.

Two other people been charged over Hayden's murder.

The 15-year-old was brutally stabbed inside his father’s car repair shot at Minchinbury.

He was rushed to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police allege a 42-year-old man acted as a getaway driver for the December 2011 killing.

In August, police arrested Darren James McArthur, 36, and charged him with Hayden's murder.

Hayden's father has links to the Lone Wolf gang, and police are yet to uncover bikie connections to the killing of the young apprentice.
