NSW teen hurt by machete in home invasion


A teenager has been injured after he was struck with a machete during a home invasion in Sydney's west.

Police say three people entered a house in Bidwill about 4pm on Monday and threatened a 46-year-old man with a pistol, while the 16-year-old was assaulted with the machete.

Ambulance paramedics assessed the teenager on site for his arm wound as well as a suspected broken arm.

Five children in the house at the time were not hurt.

Police are seeking public help to identify the three men.
