A man allegedly found with a kilogram of cocaine stuffed in his pants after jumping out a window in a bid to evade police has been refused bail.
Police say the 31-year-old was arrested after officers noticed a "large package" hidden inside his shorts while attending a warehouse in Heatherbrae, in the NSW Hunter Region, over a previously reported domestic violence incident.
The package was removed and found to contain one kilogram of cocaine.
Police then searched the industrial property and seized motorcycles, a car, methamphetamine, cash, mobile phones and knuckle dusters.
The man was charged with five offences including supplying a large commercial quantity of drugs, possession and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was also charged with attempting to stalk or intimidate, following reports of a domestic-related incident at a home in East Maitland on Saturday.
Police say they spoke with a 30-year-old woman on Saturday before finding cannabis, methamphetamine, steroids, cocaine and more than $20,000 cash during a search of the property.
The man appeared before magistrate Brett Shields on Thursday at Maitland Local Court. He did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
