A Blue Mountains man is facing 26 firearm and child abuse material charges after being investigated for property offences.
The 28-year-old was scheduled to appear at Lithgow Local Court on Thursday after he was arrested at a local property on Wednesday.
As part of an nearly 18-month investigation into property offences, NSW Police allege he had in his possession a number of stolen items including firearms.
He has been charged with 26 offences including possessing child abuse material, 11 counts of receiving stolen firearms and 10 counts of possessing unlicensed firearms.
Police will allege that the firearms were stolen from a house in Oberon, central NSW in 2018.
