An elderly hairdresser has been hit with additional charges after a former Sydney co-worker came forward with historical allegations of sexual assault.
The 76-year-old man was previously charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old client at his Rose Bay hairdressing salon and a Double Bay house in the 1980s.
Police say another woman who worked at the salon in 1985, now aged 50, has since come forward with allegations.
On Thursday the man was charged with rape and two counts of sexual assault knowing no consent was given.
He's been granted bail ahead of a scheduled appearance in the Downing Centre Local Court in August.
