NSW govt urged to disclose as required

The NSW government has been accused of being well behind on routine reports disclosing its spending on ministerial staff and advertising.

According to Labor, the state government is six months late in delivering a report on its staffing figures and is yet to disclose its advertising expenditure for the quarters ending December 31, 2017, and March 31, 2018.

Acting opposition leader Michael Daley has urged Premier Gladys Berejiklian to release the information, saying the public has a right to know it and that the government has an "obsession with secrecy".
