NSW girl assaulted by man in family home

A 22-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl while visiting her family home on the NSW Central Coast.

Detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad arrested the man at a home at Killarney Vale on Tuesday over the sexual assault of the girl on Sunday.

He was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with sexual intercourse with a child aged between 14-16, intentionally sexually touching a child aged between 10-16 and inciting a child to perform a sexual act.

He was refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Wednesday.
