A six-year-old girl has been threatened with a knife during an attempted carjacking while at a McDonald's drive-through with her father in the NSW Murray region.
Police say the child and her 42-year-old dad were approached about dinner time on Saturday as they sat idle at the fast-food chain in Corowa.
It's alleged a 28-year-old man produced a knife before threatening the pair and demanding the keys to the car.
The attacker fled after the driver got out of the car but a man was later caught and arrested.
He was refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Monday charged with aggravated assault with intent to take a car armed with a weapon and entering a vehicle without consent of the owner.
