NSW's new government app to make parking easier

A new phone app could solve Sydney’s ongoing parking headaches.

The NSW Government has launched a Park ‘n Pay app allowing drivers to pay for their parking from their phones.

It means drivers won’t have to return to parking meters to top up their time in the bay.

The app also has a notification for when parking is about to expire.

Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello said it’s currently available in The Rocks, Pyrmont, Darling Harbour and Liverpool.

The app uses Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit cards with PayPal available in the coming months.
