The Fire Department of New York said the bus, run by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, came off the road at University Avenue and the Cross Bronx Expressway in the Bronx on Thursday about 11:10pm local time.
“There are nine civilian injuries reported at this time,” the fire department said.
