Nike just dropped three new sneakers in celebration of Air Max Day

If you’re a sneaker enthusiast, then you’re well aware that on March 26, 1987, Nike’s iconic Air Max 1 debuted, changing the sneaker game forever. Developed by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max 1 was the sportswear giant’s first sneaker that featured Air technology with a visible window into the sole. Fast forward 33 years later and Nike’s impact on the sneaker industry is something to marvel, seeing as they’ve released hundred of shoes showcasing that innovative design.

In celebration of Air Max Day 2020, Nike has unveiled three new shoes in limited edition styles. Available in men, women’s and child sizes, the following shoes drop Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. EST on the brand’s website and the SNKRS app.

The Air Max 2090 brings back familiar features of the inaugural Air Max 1, a foam midsole and rubber outsole that promises durable cushioning and traction. Seeing as they’ve reimagined their iconic shoe for a modern audience, the new speed design lets you quickly lace up and head out while the internal booty construction and padded heel offers a snug and comfortable fit for all-day wear. The Air Max 2090 are also available in women and big kid sizes.

Available in three colorways (Rose Gold/Metallic Gold/Chrome) the Air Max 90 SP brings back the iconic Waffle outsole, stitched overlays and simple TPU accents, all elements of classic ‘90s era streetwear. A remake of the OG model, the low-top design merges with a padded collar for a polished finish that feels soft and comfortable with every stride. While the aforementioned colors are only available in women’s sizes, find an eclectic, University Gold colorway in men’s sizes here.

Originally released in 2013, Nike is bringing back the beloved duck camo print with a vibrant infrared base. Included in the design is a is a snakeskin-inspired Swoosh, which is sure to turn heads. Grab a pair of the Nike Air Max Duck Camo before they sell out.
