'F***ing disgusting': Aussie stars fume over alleged robbery of paraplegic man
Aussie sporting icons have come out and expressed their disgust after CCTV footage captured two individuals allegedly stealing cash from a paraplegic man at a bank.
Police released footage appealing for the public to help identify two individuals that allegedly robbed a 42-year-old who suffers from spastic diplegia (paraplegia), a form of cerebral palsy, at St George in Haymarket, Sydney, before fleeing.

The two men were seen loitering around the bank when the victim was withdrawing money at 11.45am on a Sunday.
CCTV footage captured the men waiting, before one allegedly snatched the money out of his hands before both fled the area.
Citizens assisted the wheelchair bound man following the incident and helped contact police. The victim was unharmed.
The footage prompted outrage from Aussie wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott, who blasted the ‘scumbags’ for the low act.
“Screw these absolute scumbags robbing this poor guy when using an ATM - if you know these dickheads report them to NSW police,” he wrote on Twitter.
Nick Kyrgios went one step further and didn’t mince words when retweeting Alcott’s message.
‘F***ing disgusting. Scums,” he wrote.
Aussie basketball legend Andrew Bogut also weighed in on the matter.
‘Society man, hurts the heart,” he added.
Police make arrest
Police released a statement on Tuesday afternoon claiming one of the men had been arrested and charged.
A short time later – about 3.15pm yesterday (Tuesday) a 20-year-old man was arrested at Green Valley Police Station,” the statement read.
“He was taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he was charged with steal from person.”
Police are still looking for the second individual.
