Nick Frost welcomes baby number three

Nick Frost has announced that he has welcomed a third baby.

The Shaun Of The Dead star shared his happy news on Instagram with a picture of him carrying the newborn out of the hospital in a car seat.

“And then there were 3!!!! (Kids that is!)” wrote the actor.

He added the hashtags “'thrilled #soinlove #grateful and #incrediblemumma" but didn't share any further details such as the baby's gender or name.

Earlier this week Frost, 49, had teased that he might have some big news.

He posted a picture of himself on Instagram a few days ago with the cryptic caption: “Not long now… I can’t say….”

Then two days later he shared a snap that seemed to show him in a hospital and told his 548,000 followers on the platform: “It begins…”

The star welcomed a son with his ex-wife in 2011. He became a father for the second time in 2018 when he and his girlfriend had a baby together.

Frost was inundated with messages of congratulations from his famous friends after he shared his baby news.

Sexy Beast star Ray Winstone wrote: “Congratulations my man. Big love to you all.”

"This is brilliant and beautiful," said Sherlock star Amanda Abbington. "Congratulations to all of you. Love you all.”

DJ Alan Fitzpatrick said that he was “buzzing” for Frost and his family.

Actor and comedian Frost is known for movies such as Hot Fuzz and The World’s End and also starred in the TV series Spaced.

His latest projects include TV shows The Nevers and Why Women Kill.
