Knicks make tough error, misspell Immanuel Quickley's name on his jersey vs. Pistons
Immanuel Quickley may want to have a word with the New York Knicks’ equipment staff.
Quickley, in his second game back on the court after spending time in the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols, took the court on Wednesday night at Little Caesars Arena with a jersey that had his last name brutally misspelled.

Quickley’s jersey was fine on Tuesday night, when they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 96-88 in Minneapolis. What happened on the flight to Michigan before Wednesday's 94-85 win over the Detroit Pistons is anyone’s guess.
Quickley entered Wednesday night averaging 10 points and 2.6 assists per game this season, his second with the Knicks. He dropped a season-high 24 points while shooting 7-of-10 from the 3-point line against the Houston Rockets earlier this month, but landed in the health and safety protocols days later.
Quickley finished with 18 points and two assists against the Pistons.
Though Quickley’s misspelling isn’t that big of a deal at the end of the day, and there have definitely been worse, this is one of the funnier blunders in recent years across the sports world. It definitely led to plenty of easy jokes, too.

People joke the Knicks’ jersey stitchers should use autocorrect, but they sew those names in Immanuelly.

Knicks can't even spell their own players names correctly. They have Immanuel Quickley hooping in the AliExpress special. pic.twitter.com/2ZK3Bcbeu9
