Woolworths, Coles added to Covid list as virus travels 500km
Several new Covid exposure sites have been identified across NSW, including a bottle shop in a town more than 500km away from Sydney.
On Monday, NSW reported 98 new Covid-19 cases and by the evening contact tracers had identified several places confirmed Covid cases had been.
Among those is a bottle shop in Coffs Harbour, which is some 500km away from Sydney.
"A confirmed case of Covid-19 reported in today’s numbers from Sydney visited venues on the Mid North Coast last week, including Coffs Harbour," Mid North Coast Health said on Facebook.
"The case was last believed to have been in the area on July 15 and may have been infectious for part of the time.
"NSW Health is undertaking urgent case investigations and further information will be provided as soon as available."
The bottle shop is on the list of "close contact" venues, anyone who visited a close contact venue at the relevant date and time must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.

NSW Health has also identified new casual contact venues, including several supermarkets.
Casual contacts must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.

"If your date of exposure at this venue occurred in the past four days, you must get another test on day 5 from the date of exposure," NSW Health said.
"Wear a mask around others and limit your movements until you get another negative result."

Anyone in NSW with the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to get tested immediately and isolate until a negative result is received.
